An organisation which has supported more than 80,000 businesses since it was founded has celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Wenta, an independent not-for-profit enterprise agency dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses marked the milestone with an event in Parliament sponsored by Watford MP Dean Russell.

“Wenta plays a key role in the Watford community and beyond, nurturing entrepreneurship and driving economic success. The dedication and hard work of everyone involved is truly commendable.” Originally named the Watford Enterprise Agency, Wenta was founded in 1983 by a group of local businessmen in the town to support small business owners.

This service puts small businesses at the forefront of tackling climate change by producing greener products and services. The event also featured Dom McKenna, chairman of Wenta, who expressed his thanks to partners, sponsors, staff and board members for their invaluable contributions.
