Tanya McCray has been out of work and struggling with nightmares and flashbacks since Jean-Francois Coste allegedly drunkenly punched her inside of a Coney Island station.

A veteran subway worker who was slugged while on the job at a Coney Island subway station is suing the well-heeled investment banker arrested for the drunken attack.while trying to access the “crew room” in a nonpublic area there just after midnight, according to court papers and McCray’s union.Tanya McCray has been out of work since she was punched, allegedly by Jean-Francois Coste. She also suffers from nightmares and flashbacks over the incident.

“He refuses to take responsibility criminally, and because of that she’s going to have to testify. It’s going to open old wounds and result in an aggravation of the nightmares and the flashbacks,” said McCray’s attorney, Brad Kauffman.The banker no longer works at Tocqueville Asset Management, the company said.McCray used her lunch box, with a thermos inside, to hit back against Coste, leaving him with a black eye and scratches, officials said at the time of the assault.

“Mr. Coste was suspended from Tocqueville Asset Management immediately after the incident and is no longer with the firm,” a spokesman for the company told The Post.
