U.K. stocks finished up Tuesday, with the FTSE 100 Index rising 0.09% at 7,660.20. Among FTSE 100 constituents, investment advisors company Hargreaves...

Among FTSE 100 constituents, investment advisors company Hargreaves Lansdown PLC HL, +4.92% saw the largest increase Tuesday, as shares climbed 4.92%.

Persimmon PLC PSN, +1.65%, a residential building construction company, and advertising/marketing/public relations business WPP PLC WPP, +1.65% rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks increased 1.65% and 1.65%, respectively. Shares of clothing firm Burberry Group PLC BRBY, -4.04% and non-ferrous metals company Antofagasta PLC ANTO, -2.68% declined 4.04% and 2.68%, respectively.

The pound was up 0.02% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.02% at $1.2388 and 0.12% against the euro GBPEUR, +0.12% at €1.1597.
