The ground-breaking awards event is all about embracing diversity and inclusivity within the business world

A nine-strong judging panel has poured over a record number of entries and come up with the finalists for the first Minorities Recognition Awards in Northern Ireland .

The event will shine a spotlight on remarkable business owners and individuals who have shown exceptional dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within their communities, inspiring others to do the same. The gala MRANI evening, sponsored by Allstate NI, and hosted by Ibe Sessay from Q Radio, will take place on Saturday, October 7, at Belfast's Stormont Hotel.It comprised Susan Walker from Allstate NI, Ulster Bank's John Ferris, Christine White of Women in Business, Orla McKeating from Diversity Mark, broadcaster Lata Sharma, Kate Nicholl MLA and Chair of All Party on Ethnic Minority Group), Eileen Chan-Hu CraicNI. CEO & Founder and Graham Tarin Rae from Allstate NI.

“With more than 250 submissions, it is a real testament not only to the reputation of the awards, but also the calibre of Ethnic Minority talent right here in Northern Ireland,” he added. Event founder Diane Davis said: “These awards aim to ignite positive change, motivating organisations of all sizes and sectors to adopt diversity and create inclusive workplaces.
