CommSec’s Craig James says the share price index on the futures exchange appears to give a “reasonably good” prediction on the market’s current outlook. “It’s down nine points,” Mr James told Sky News Australia. “Now that’s what it’s likely to be at the start of trade. “But what we saw on Friday and also yesterday is the Australian Share Market down significantly at the open of trade but managed to finish in the black for both Monday and Friday. “Today, we have the weekly reading of consumer sentiment coming out from ANZ and Royal Morgan.” Presented by CommSec.
