The Middletown Volunteer Fire Co. was headed to a fire in Lancaster County when the Thursday morning crash happened.

A Middletown firetruck was crashed into Thursday morning while en route to a Lancaster County house fire, officials said.

A vehicle hit a Middletown Volunteer Fire Co. truck around 7 a.m. at East Harrisburg Pike and North Deodate Road in Londonderry Township, the fire department said. Firefighters provided immediate aid to the driver who hit the truck. The driver was then taken to a hospital for evaluation. The fire department said no firefighters were injured.
