European stocks finished down Wednesday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index SXXP, -0.14% decreasing 0.14% to 440.08.

Shares of business/consumer services firm Atos SE ATO, -6.70% and health care/life sciences company Novartis AG NOVN, -4.72% fell 6.7% and 4.7%, respectively. Shares of investing/securities firm Allfunds Group PLC ALLFG, +10.59% and health care/life sciences company Elekta AB Series B EKTA.B, +4.61% rose 10.6% and 4.6%, respectively.
