European stocks finished lower Monday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index SXXP, -0.26% dropping 0.26% to 443.79.

Shares of basic materials/resources firm Croda International PLC CRDA, -7.32% and air transport company Wizz Air Holdings PLC WIZZ, -6.19% dropped 7.3% and 6.2%, respectively. Shares of fossil fuels firm ORLEN S.A. PKN, +6.41% and fossil fuels company Aker BP ASA AKRBP, +6.17% rose 6.4% and 6.2%, respectively.
