Hong Kong stocks jump over 2%, leading wider gains in the Asia-Pacific region as investors looked ahead to key U.S. consumer inflation data.

We believe that automated generation of natural language, code and digital content, as well as task execution, are likely to drive significant efficiency gains across professional services industries," the investment bank's analysts said.Semiconductors are looking undervalued, thanks to the selloff in some parts of the sector, according to Morningstar.
