HBO's Theranos documentary goes inside the secretive, failed company

Austin, Texas Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes shimmying into a room filled with her employees to the tune of"Can't Touch This" is one of the more memorable, ironic scenes in an upcoming documentary about her now-disgraced startup.

The HBO film,"The Inventor: Out For Blood in Silicon Valley," due out March 18, follows the rise and fall of the Silicon Valley-based company that aimed to revolutionize blood testing. Founded in 2003, it was reportedly worth about $9 billion before a bombshell report revealed it to be a house of cards. The SEC charged the company with"massive fraud" involving more than $700 million and it remains the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation by the Department of Justice.

Haha what

Don’t forget alexgibneyfilm ‘s fantastic film, “Going Clear: Scientology & the Prison of Belief”, which exposed a horrific cult worth billions of dollars.

I was scrolling by too fast and I thought it read “Thanos”

Give it a few years, that'll be HBO after they've run out of poor actors to wheel out and pretend that Michael touched them for coins.

You had to be a complete idiot not to see that ElizabethHolmes and theranos weren’t a scam of immense proportions from day one.

This woman should be in jail.
