Stocks in the Asia-Pacific region decreased Monday, Oct. 16, as the Hong Kong and Japanese markets declined for the second day.

Of the Nikkei 225 Index constituents, rail passenger transport company Keio 9008, -6.33% saw the largest decline Monday, as shares weakened 6.3% Shares of integrated oil/gas firm ENEOS Holdings 5020, +1.89% and non-ferrous metals company Mitsui Mining & Smelting 5706, +1.50% gained 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively.
