- Metals Acquisition announced on Tuesday that it has entered into subscription agreements with certain existing and new accredited investors to raise approximately $20 million through a private placement financing.

According to the company, the CSA mine at Cobar in New South Wales is one of Australia’s highest grade copper mines. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia’s deepest underground mines. CEO Mick McMullen commented, “We are accelerating the implementation of many of the opportunities we have identified during the first three months of ownership of the CSA copper mine. With additional capital we expect to bring forward some of the previously unrealized value that exists at CSA.
