European stocks finished lower Friday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index SXXP, -1.36% falling 1.36% to 433.73.

Shares of health care/life sciences firm Sartorius Stedim Biotech S.A. DIM, -8.44% and company Husqvarna AB Series B HUSQ.B, -8.01% dropped 8.4% and 8.0%, respectively. Shares of real estate firm Wallenstam AB Series B WALL.B, +5.36% and insurance company Gjensidige Forsikring ASA GJF, +4.68% rose 5.4% and 4.7%, respectively.
