THE IT Business Process Association of the Philippines warns of long-term economic consequences for the IT-Business Process Management industry and the country’s investment reputation if the government fails to safeguard its critical information and communications systems against cyberattacks.
The group called for the approval and implementation of the National Cybersecurity Plan 2023-2028, which outlines the Philippines’ overall strategy in combating cyber threats that could cripple the economy and national security.
