Scammers are creating fake customer service numbers that will appear in search results when you use search by voice.

The Better Business Bureau is now warning the public of a new scam linked to using your smartphone’s voice search engine -- especially to find numbers to companies or businesses.

They're fully aware how people are rely on the convenient features of their cell phone. They have devised ways to trick smartphone users into paying fees for services. “A customer tried using voice search to contact Roku with a question about setting up their device so instead, someone pretended to be the Roku representative charged them $80 for an activation fee for service that doesn’t even exist,” says Walz.Verify Support Phone Numbers
