Quebec Finance Minister Eric Girard is juggling slowing economic growth with the need for government assistance to Quebecers suffering with inflation and soaring housing costs.

Quebec Finance Minister Eric Girard unveiled his economic update today. With economic growth slowing dramatically, Quebec intends to take a targeted approach to pressing social issues like food insecurity and the housing crisis, Finance Minister Eric Girard announced in an economic update Tuesday.
