The top five OEMs are responsible for more than half of all plug-in car sales during the first nine months of 2023. Tesla and BYD are expanding their share.

More than 9.4 million plug-in electric cars were sold during the first nine months of 2023, accounting for about 16 percent of the total car sales globally. Today, we will take a look at the largest manufacturers of rechargeable cars.
