Hollywood star Robert De Niro's production company has been ordered to pay out $1.26 million to his former assistant Graham Chase Robinson over her gender discrimination case

Robert De Niro's production company has been ordered to pay $1.26 million to his former assistant who sued over gender discrimination while the actor himself was found to be not personally liable.

She originally sued for $12 million for gender discrimination after resigning from her role and the court heard her claims of not being paid fairly compared to another male employee, as well as allegedly being shouted at by Robert, 80. "Not only did Ms. Robinson win her case against Canal but the jury completely vindicated Ms. Robinson by finding De Niro’s claims against her to be without merit."
