More than 150 Tejano and conjunto acts will perform March 14-17 at Hemisfair in downtown San Antonio.

While Austin is enjoying — and enduring — the final weekend of the SXSW Music Festival, Tejano fans in San Antonio will have a festival all their own. The annual Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair will be March 14-17 at Hemisfair, with more than 150 Tejano and conjunto acts on four stages. It’s a new venue for the fan fair, which has taken place at Market Square for decades.

Fiesta Oyster Bake is going to rock “This momentous occasion underscores the significance of Hemisfair as a central gathering place for Tejano music enthusiasts and highlights San Antonio’s rich cultural heritage,” organizers said in a statement. The music lineup for the four-day event includes, Jennifer Peña, Siggno, Stefani Montiel, Destiny Navaira, Sunny Sauceda y Todo Eso, and Max Baca and the Texmaniacs. Many of the musicians also will take part in autograph sessions.
