New owner Ken Cranwill acquired the Toy and Auto Sense business as part of a larger deal to purchase heavy trucking company Western Star Sales Thunder Bay.

THUNDER BAY — A second Thunder Bay business on Bay Street will close its doors and operate out of one south-side location.

Cranwill owns the Winnipeg-based Connexion Western Star truck company, which is part of the parent company, Daimler Trucks North America. He now operates Freightliner and Western Star truck dealers and Timmins Trailers in Ontario. "That's why we thought, let's put it back into one location and concentrate on our flagship store, and let's grow our business there and have a look at it and see how it does."
