Richard Warnock and his wife Jacqueline found a total of just under £11m in their two accounts but their millionaire status only lasted a few hours.

A husband and wife thought they had "hit the jackpot" after a banking error saw them receive £11m in stocks and shares.

The 56-year-old told the Record: "For a couple of hours there, I thought this might be real and we'd hit the jackpot! It was like winning the EuroMillions! The couple, who share two children, had been using their accounts for a self-invested private pension and a Stocks & Shares ISA.
