South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg cautioned against boycotts of companies like Chick-fil-A because of their political giving in an interview on Wednesday, arguing that it leads people to"sometimes slip into a sort of virtue signaling in some cases where we're not really being consistent."
The comment -- which comes a day after Buttigieg, who is gay, said he doesn't support Chick-fil-A's politics but supports its chicken -- is significant because of past controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A.
Mayor Pete referred to gay people who exercised the only real power they have as being'sanctimonious'and that is the power of their dollar to support those companies who support gay people and to withhold their dollars for those who don't.Pete has thrown gay people under the bus.
Sorry, Booty-Judge. I will continue to boycott Chick Fail-A for supporting organizations that shamelessly discriminate against, and damage the lives of people like me.

Young man, gay people boycott anyone or any company that blatantly discriminates against us, trying to negate our Constitutional rights. We fought hard for our rights. I hope you and your husband are able to enjoy them as my husband (of 42 years) and I now can do.

I don't quite agree with PeteButtigieg. ChickfilA flaunts its politics, so, can expect to be judged on them. They might think they'll attract more customers in the process, or maybe just the kind of customers they want to cater to.
