In two months, visitors to the Olympic Games in Paris will find a city transformed over the last few years into a cyclist's haven. Mayor Anne Hidalgo has also pedestrianised swathes of the city, pushing cars out of the centre. At weekends, the northern bank of the Seine is packed with families, runners, and skateboarders rather than thundering traffic.
