An independent craft brewing business has been forced to wind up its operations two months on from being plunged into voluntary administration after financial difficulties.

An Australian brewing business has confirmed it is ending its operations after a buyer failed to emerge during a two month period of voluntary administration.

"We have made the difficult decision to wind up our business. We've poured our hearts into every brew, every interaction, and every moment shared with you," the post said. The business was established by uni friends Patrick Alé and David Milstein in 2012 in the Melbourne south-east suburb of Glen Iris under the name Quiet Deeds.

"Our hearts are broken. Since launching Deeds Brewing in 2012, our mission has always been about passion and people," the Instagram post said.
