photo by J LaBerge 'Dear PoPville, I’m wondering if I could ask the crowd for recommendations for AC repair/maintenance? I turned on my AC last week during the hot weather and it was broken, so I need some help… I’ve been using Clover for the last few years but they no longer do residential service.

I’ve been using Clover for the last few years but they no longer do residential service. The reviews I found online for other companies that service DC were pretty universally terrible, and a lot of them mentioned hard upsells. I want a company that will give me realistic numbers on repair vs. replacement without trying too hard to take advantage of me. I’m not against a service plan, either.

Come for a tasty brunch, bottomless drinks and drag performances that make you laugh and feel better about the world! Why? Because you’re gorgeous and you deserve it! We can’t wait to welcome you! Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.
