The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to a record-breaking extension with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, which will reset the market for receivers.

Many wide receivers in the NFL have received contract extensions this offseason, with some clawing their way into the category of the top five highest-paid at their respective position. Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown signed a three-year, $96 million extension in April of this year, making him the highest-paid receiver at $32 million annually. However, that figure is now only good for second place at the position.
