The government must prioritize creating a conducive environment that facilitates the seamless movement of goods and services, both locally and internationally.” He noted that the industry is currently underserved and that increasing the number of qualified professionals would significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chains across various sectors.“The industry can benefit immensely from more trained professionals who can implement advanced supply chain strategies and technologies,” he said.
Additionally, Okoli recommended that federal universities incorporate Supply Chain Management into their curricula to develop future talent.
