U.S. stocks saw a subdued open Wednesday morning as investors appeared to take a breather after key equity indexes notched records a day earlier, with Wall Street digesting a barrage of quarterly results. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.15% fell 24 points, or 0.1%, at 26,635. Dow component Boeing Co. BA, +0.96% said it would take an initial hit of more than $1 billion on the global grounding of the 737 MAX aircraft, in the aftermath two fatal crashes of the popular commercial jet.
