UDM leader promises to tackle unemployment among rural youth

The UDM leader boasted about the axing ofand the resignation of former President Jacob Zuma as the successes of his party in Parliament.

He has urged his supporters to re-elect the UDM so that they can continue to hold those in power accountable.Unemployment, especially amongst the youth, is high. The UDM leader says he’s familiar with the lives of people in the rural areas and therefore would be best-placed to come up with solutions if put in power.

Some of the community members express their sentiments about the party. “What we like about the UDM is that it has a plan for us rural people. It is not telling about thing we don’t need as rural people. As young people we see the future with the UDM, because they have already helped us while they are in parliament.”Issues that include soil erosion have been a sore point for the sector.

The UDM also pushed its message of economic development for rural communities so that the burden of state dependency can be decreased.
