has assured South Africans that the votes counted so far are credible.Maimane says they will closely monitor the outcome of the audit.

“We’ve got to get an audit so that we know the extent, and the question about how material, the issues of ink not working properly, how when people came to cast their votes actually they could vote twice. So let that audit take place because ultimately it’s in the interest of every party whether small or big that you want to make sure the elections were free and fair which is crucial. So we’ll be monitoring that particular situation,” says Maimane.
