Vice President Kamala Harris visited Johnstown on Friday as part of her 'New Way Forward' campaign.Harris landed at the Johnstown Airport, just before 2 p.m., w

Harris landed at the Johnstown Airport, just before 2 p.m., where she briefly met with local union members and supporters inside a private hangar.

The VP was also greeted at the airport by Senator John Fetterman, and his wife, and Johnstown Mayor Frank Janakovic. Following the brief meet-and-greet with a few hundred supporters at the airport, Harris departed for downtown Johnstown where she visited Classic Elements, Inc.She discussed issues facing small business owners, as well as the importance of community and getting to know the local area.

When asked about the Keystone State and its importance in the upcoming presidential election, Harris responded by stating that "she feels really good about Pennsylvania." Harris went on to say that she plans on making more campaign stops in the Commonwealth, between now and November, stating that there are plenty of voters that "deserve to be heard."
