The pub group behind The Botanist bars have closed three more sites amid a major company restructure. The Botanist bars in Knutsford and Alderley Edge in Cheshire and The Florist bar in Liverpool were all closed down to the shock of revellers on Thursday.
Alderley Edge was the location for the very first The Botanist when it was launched by Living Ventures as a new concept amid a blaze of publicity back in 2012. Knutsford followed in 2016. "The closure doesn’t affect any of our neighbouring North West venues and we are looking forward to welcoming our guests from Manchester into The Botanist Media City, Alderley Edge and Knutsford."
