The purchase, made through a competitive bankruptcy auction, includes the brand and its related assets. The Salt Life brand will now focus on a wholesale and e-commerce business model.

The inventory from Salt Life’s distribution centers will be sold. Liquidation sales began in Salt Life’s 28 stores in 10 states beginning on Sept. 20. Liquidation sales are being managed by Hilco. Store fixtures and equipment are also for sale. Gift cards will be accepted until Oct. 20.
