Mokonyane says the will of the people of Mozambique should be respected.

“The will of the people in Mozambique has to be respected as it has been respected in Botswana, as it should be respected in few days to come in the United States of America. We must call on the people of Mozambique and urge them to resolve their issues, not actually by going to the streets but strengthening and improving the institutions of democracy.”In South Africa, the ANC also lost its outright majority in the general elections this year.
