Two other victims are in hospital after the attack in Walworth.

Police at the scene in Walworth today A man has died after a triple stabbing at street market in south London this morning. The attack on East Street in Walworth saw three people suffer wounds at around 10.40am. Two victims are being treated in hospital with their condition currently unknown. The man who was killed was pronounced dead at the scene. A man believed to be in his 60s has been arrested and is in police custody.

One man was rapidly arrested by officers responding to the incident. At present, although enquiries are ongoing, nobody else is sought. ‘The incident is not being treated as terrorism. Enquiries continue, led by dedicated detectives from Specialist Crime. ‘I want to thank those people who have already shared their accounts of what they saw with police.
