The local stock is seen to be dictated by the announcement of the May inflation rate this week which, if favorable, should provide a cue for investors to continue bargain hunting.

It noted that, “With no certain outcome as to how sequels would unfold from US-China trade tariff deliberation, fund managers need to be ascertained that domestic variables are intact to prod them to position more cash into equities.” It said that, the financial system remains awash with cash and investors are likely to go hunting for bargains with commendable upside.

Abacus Securities Corporation reiterated its BUY recommendation for First Gen Corporation as it gets closer to constructing its own liquid natural gas terminal and “considering its cheap valuation and strong earnings growth.”
