Students at City of Wolverhampton College got the lowdown on how social media influencers are used by companies to promote their brands in the online gaming world through a link-up with an industry-leading esports marketing agency.

Students heard from experts about how brands integrate into online gaming platforms such as Roblox and other user generated content games, as well as how the company identifies and recruits influencer talent to connect brands with the global esports' audience. Dan Clarke, head of service and academic studies at the college, said:"Online gaming is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world and the link-up with Feenix has enables our students to hear from experts in the field and get an insight into the work that goes on to give brands a presence in such a competitive space, as well as finding out about the range of career opportunities available in the sector.
