Hazeeb Rahman Padiyath, chairman of the group, made the announcement as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Nigeria. Padiyath said the investments would enable Nigerians access world class hospitals at affordable cost. He said the company is set to commission Padiyath Mayfields Hospitals in Abuja as part of its long term investment drive.The chairman said the hospital is a 300-bed tertiary care hospital which is being constructed in Suncity estates, Galadimawa.He told Modi that the “hospital brings in advanced diagnostic equipment like 3T MRI.

“This center will be a full-fledged cancer hospital with equipment like Pet Scan, Linear accelerator & Gamma knife,” Padiyath said.Padiyath said the initiatives are part of his vision to provide quality and affordable healthcare across Africa.
