Temu, Shein, and AliExpress have been flooding the British market with low-priced products, leading to an influx of parcels from these Chinese retail giants just ahead of Black Friday. These companies have garnered significant popularity in the UK, with Temu, which launched in April 2022, being known to 71 percent of the British population. Temu has amassed around 15 million UK users, a number that's almost five times the shopper count on John Lewis's or Argos's websites.

Meanwhile, Shein is known to 63 percent of Britons, and up to 43 percent of Britons who shop online have bought from one of these platforms. Temu is offering discounts of up to 90 percent and AliExpress up to 80 percent for the upcoming sales.
