The City of Mobile is partnering with a recycling center called Ransom Solutions to provide convenient ways to recycle old electronics

.) - Phones with shattered screens sitting in a forgotten drawer or computers that won’t turn on anymore can now be dropped off at recycling centers in Mobile.

Founder and Executive Director of Ransom Solutions Matt Armbruster said throwing away old electronics with the household garbage can pollute and contaminate our landfills. Armbruster said they offer three recycling locations around Mobile, making it convenient to recycle wherever you live. Not only does Ransom Solutions collect these unwanted items, they also have a team to sort and process through the electronic waste.
