A Shropshire training provider becomes first in Europe to gain dual Kata and Lean Competency accreditation.

People Centred Excellence was already an accredited provider of training courses through the Lean Competency System , developed by Cardiff University’s Lean Enterprise Research Centre . The LCS is a qualification framework that helps organisations and their people to grow their knowledge and perform better.

Graham Canning, Founding Partner of People Centred Excellence, said: “We’re thrilled our business has secured dual accreditation for Lean Competency and Kata Competency. People Centred Excellence was founded in 2019 by Graham and his fellow founding partner, Stuart Mitton. Since then, organisations and teams in a variety of sectors – from healthcare to manufacturing – have benefited from the company’s lean and operational excellence courses and consulting. Based in Market Drayton, the training specialist works with clients across the UK and internationally.
