'SoftBank, which is a technology group from Japan, makes investments into a variety of companies including Yahoo, Uber, DoorDash, Boston Dynamics and artificial intelligence company Nvidia.After Trump won his first term in the White House in 2016, he met with Son before taking office then as well. Son announced plans in 2016 to create 50,000 jobs and invest $50 billion into startups in the United States.
