'It was my dream to continue': Father's death drove daughter to create $1.4b business | carawaters

A turning point in Sonia Bonfiglioli's life came when her father suffered an aneurysm and died in 2010 leaving her as chairman of the family manufacturing business he founded 56 years earlier.

"The strong challenge for me at the moment was to show the people that they could rely on me as they had relied for so many years on my father," she says. "I thought I had worked for the company, it was my dream to continue the company.
