shares rallied in the extended session Thursday after the cloud-networking company's quarterly results topped Wall Street expectations. Arista Networks shares surged 5.6% after hours, following a 0.5% decline in the regular session to close at $272.11. The company reported second-quarter net income of $189.3 million, or $2.33 a share, compared with a loss of $155.2 million, or $2.08 a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were $2.44 a share. Revenue rose to $608.
