The incident comes just days before President‘s state visit to Tanzania next week. Pandor says the President will also lead a South African delegation to the 39th Ordinary Summit of Southern African Development Community Heads of State and Government in the same country.
“The summit will be updated on the status of the region’s economic, health and food security. It will provide policy direction about future strategic work of the SADC and the SADC post 2020 Agenda. The Chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation will also present a report on the status of regional peace and security.”
