Minister for Industry, Science and Technology Karen Andrews says the government plans to grow the Australian space agency into a $12 billion industry.

The Morrison Government announced it will commit $150 million to support the US space agency’s Moon to Mars mission, with the funding rolled out over five years to help the development of niche technologies for

space, including robotics communication and artificial intelligence. “The focus of this announcement is to grow our Australian businesses to work with NASA and develop technologies like automation and robotics,” she said.
