Stock markets across the Asia-Pacific region are in the red, as investors were jolted by the news of a formal impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. China fell by 1%, on fears that the probe could undermine efforts to end the trade war between Washington and Beijing, while Hong Kong shed 1.3%.
