Australian yoga and pilates franchise CorePlus is launching in Canada and the United States with plans for 100 studios.

The boutique exercise franchise group was valued at $US450 million this year afterMike King says F45 has shown a demand for Australian brands in the wellness sector.

Amy King started CorePlus when she was working in superannuation and started to develop a "massive interest" in yoga, which led her to complete her yoga teacher training and open a studio. She says CorePlus's offering is different to that which is available in Australia and in chains such as CorePower in the United States.

CorePlus' first international studio is set to open in Toronto next year and franchisees will pay 7 per cent in royalties and a 3 per cent marketing fee.
