Cape Town taxi operators unhappy with high fines being issued by police via SABCNewsOnline

Police are monitoring the situation.

This unidentified taxi driver says they are tired of being targeted by the city’s law enforcement officials: “We have a problem with the traffic officers. They treat us like criminals. Drive properly and then you won’t be fined. Simple

Oh shame . Heres a novel idea for u taxi drivers obey the laws and maybe u wont get fines 🤔🤔🤔🤔

The law breakers, they want to continue breaking the law without any consequences?

They deserve it !how u gonna charge R13 for taxi fair - thats sick

It's simple, conduct yourself and conform to the laws of the roads, and non of this would be happening

I have some sympathy, but not too much. Fair is fair.
