MiPower, a Limpopo-based company, is hoping to steer public transport in SA into the electric era, said its CEO Masala Ramabulana.

He told TimesLIVE that financial backing from government would help the company create jobs in rural Limpopo.

“What we were trying to achieve by contacting them was to raise awareness about our bus and concepts of building a factory in rural Limpopo so that we are able to provide hi-tech paying jobs in villages, but, most importantly, give hope.”The state can also help by giving small firms like us access to committees, such as investment committees and 18-member panels the president just launched.”MORE

I recall electric buses in the 1960's....so what's new pussycat?

The government will try by all means to sabotage them but will approve the same concept should it be proposed by the Chinese.

Big up to them to a livhuwa vho ramabulana

Hahaha! An electric bus in a country where the parastatal company Eskom can't even supply electricity to its customers... 🤬😤😮

Ndi zwa Vhavenda.

GovernmentZA What happened to the Joule must not happen to this project

massenya do you remember this form UNISA days, he studied in B14

Yo fellas Jebba11 temmolai we got the usual competition to deal with before we even start🤔

Did you say Limpopo. Ya nor this bus must be supported.

The electrician won’t replace all the wiring in the newly evented transport.

Municipalities must purchase these busses so that the price of transport in South Africa can come down. If this can succeed, soon taxis are going to be a thing of the past.
